A Tremendous Month of Ministry

God has really been on the move in the refugee camps this past month. He has blessed our efforts there in so many ways. In August, Living Water CT partnered with another ministry, Mark 16:15, to host a 3-day evangelistic event in Belameling Refugee Camp. The event was hugely successful, with many first-time decisions and many rededications to Christ.

Timothy Logos Training Center (TLTC), our new Bible College, held our first session for Class Two. Out of the 37 students, 14 prayed to receive Christ for the first time, and seven were baptized. Our training center provides other subjects in addition to theology, such as English and agriculture. Class Two ended on September 4th, and on September 15th, the second session for Class One began. Our campus is growing to accommodate the needs of a busy college campus. Construction on the new dining room has just been completed, and a new guesthouse for visiting professors is currently being constructed. Pray with us about our need for more land. We are blessed with the best construction engineer in all of Africa. Steven Francisco Kule has constructed every building we have built in South Sudan and Uganda over the past 10 years.

Besides the Bible College and the evangelistic event, other areas of our ministry continue to function like a well-oiled sewing machine: Living Water Primary with 500 children, 35 churches, weekly Jesus Film presentations, adult vocational training classes, farming, small businesses, Celebrate Recovery, monthly food distribution for the disabled, Community Bible Study for adults, teens, and children, children’s weekly Bible clubs, and youth conferences.

LWCT has a very small staff, and it is only through the power of the Lord Almighty that they can handle all that we have going on there. I could not be more proud of them, and I feel so blessed to have the privilege of working alongside these spiritual giants. And it is through your partnership that all of this is possible. “But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?” Romans 10:14-15 (The New Living Translation). Thank you so very much for sending.
