Cheri Wood was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Carey University. With more than 30 years of healthcare experience, she has dedicated much of her career to hospice, palliative care, and home health services, serving in
both clinical and executive leadership roles. Cheri currently works as a clinical consultant and relocated to Tennessee in 2024.
Cheri and her husband, Brandt, attend Long Hollow Baptist Church and are active volunteers with Middle Tennessee Mission Outreach (MTMO), serving communities in Honduras. She iS blessed with two children, two bonus children, and three grandchildren, and is passionate about serving others through faith-based ministry and compassionate care.
