Born in rural Virginia, living there until his graduation from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington with a BS in Electrical Engineering.Jack served nine (9) years in the active Army and Army Reserve during the Vietnam crisis with his active service at Fort Knox, Ky. He concluded a twenty nine (29) year career with the E.I. DuPont Co. believing God’s call to full-time ministry service with the Southern Baptist Convention, Executive Committee in Nashville, Tennessee, serving there fourteen (14) years as the V.P. of Business & Finance before his retirement in 2007.
Jack has served as a volunteer with Crown Financial Ministries for more than twenty-five (25) years as a budget coach, small group Bible study leader and trainer and a certified Crown seminar instructor for The Journey to Financial Freedom, one-day seminar. Jack is currently a financial coach and teaches a seminar on Debt Free Living. He also coaches small groups on the financial principles from God’s Word and assists individuals on how to eliminate debt.
Jack is married and he and his wife Brenda of 61 years, have been blessed with two married children, Wendy, living in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Joshua residing in Danville, Kentucky.
They have 4 wonderful grandchildren. Jack and Brenda reside currently in Danville, Kentucky where they have lived since 2023.
