A One Week Ministry Surge in the Refugee Camps

“The Lord watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow” Psalm 146:9
October 29-Nov 11th, a team of 9 volunteers served refugees in Northern Uganda by meeting a variety of needs. We felt the blessing of God in all that we accomplished in our 8 days on site. (The distance and remoteness of the camps necessitates additional days for travel.)

Thank you for your amazing support for this ministry. The two children in the photo above were found to be alone, sleeping on the ground with no adult. They have survived up to now because occasionally other refugees have shown pity, and shared some of their food. Their father died and their mother abandoned them to go back to South Sudan. Sadly, these are only two of many situations like this in the refugee camps. The food scarcity is worsening daily as the UN no longer provides rations in these refugee settlements.
