The new year has started off with great hopefulness for South Sudanese refugees in Palorinya Refugee Settlement. All areas of our mission there have new things to celebrate. God’s promise is coming to their notice: “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25

Living Water Primary School added grade level five, totaling 450 precious souls
Lively competition between the boy’s and the girl’s debate teams began this month
Loads of new textbooks to prepare the future leaders of the Nation of South Sudan
Farmers give thanks for learning new skills & for the acquisition of more land to farm.
Women’s Ministry is growing in the Word of God and in size.
Every week many refugees are celebrating new life as they respond to the Gospel.
Pastor Training is preparing men to lead strong churches among South Sudanese.
Celebrate Recovery groups are changing the lives of traumatized refugees.
Women’s small discipleship groups meet weekly. Some are making soap to sell.
Baking classes are celebrating their new kitchens with with wonderful ventilation. 
Caregivers collect food provided each month by LWCT for disabled refugees.
