No Christmas Tree? No Problem. 
New believers in Akot celebrate Christmas their own way, a candlelight service without candles.
All the churches in Akot were invited to a 24 hour worship service at Akot Christian Ministries compound, beginning at dusk on Christmas eve. A large crowd heard a Christmas message from one of our pastors, then sang and prayed all night . On Christmas morning the Children’s Bible Club presented a drama of the story of the birth of Christ. The children are students from ACM’s two schools, Living Water Primary and Abundant Life Primary. ACM’s Women of Hope led worship with their own Dinka praise songs and dance. This was followed by an evangelistic message by another of our pastors.
